MASTRO project was present at the 5th International Conference of Engineering Against Failure (ICEAF V) that took place on June 20 – 22, 2018 in Chios island, Greece. Professor Liberata Guadagno chaired the session on “Multifunctional Composites for Aeronautical Applications” and gave a talk with Elisa Calabrese on “microencapsulated self – healing composites”. Dr. Marialuigia Raimondo gave a talk on “covalent and non-covalent functionalization of carbon nanotubes: effect on thermal and mechanical properties of structural nanocomposites”.
